No accounts

You don't create an account to host or join, so we don't collect your email, password or contact list. The name you type is shown to the other people in your meeting and saved only in your own browser or app so it's filled in next time.

Your calls

Video, audio, screen sharing and chat are encrypted and sent directly between the people in the meeting whenever the network allows. If a direct connection can't be made, the encrypted stream passes through a relay server to get through firewalls. A matchmaking server is used only to introduce devices to each other using the meeting code; it doesn't receive your video, audio or chat.

Recordings

Recordings are made on the recorder's own device and saved there. They are never uploaded by Wav Storm Stream. Everyone in the meeting sees a REC badge while anyone is recording. You're responsible for getting consent where the law requires it.

Camera, microphone and screen

Your browser or computer asks before Wav Storm Stream can use your camera, microphone or screen. You can mute, stop video or stop sharing at any time.

Website

This website is hosted on Netlify, which keeps standard server logs such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability.
